Annie Nolan: Sign On Twins VIRAL PHOTO

Going viral.

Annie Nolan, a blogger who is married to AFL player Liam Picken, has posted this photo on social media, with the caption below, and it has been shared over 20,000 times from her page.

I REALLY wanted to leave these signs on the pram today. As a twin mum, you get asked a series of questions/hear a series of statements EVERYTIME you go out. I know most people are coming from a great place and are just curious however many can be quite intrusive and after a while it's just plain exhausting. And since I was heading into the city, I knew the questions would be coming thick and fast... but I chickened out on the train and took them off!
P.S- it is a joke people ðŸ˜œ

Since her post has gone viral, she has posted this:

Delphi and Cheska leaving the house for the first time since their 15mins of facebook fame ‪#‎delphiandcheska‬ ‪#‎twins‬

And more recently, Annie posted this:

You know that feeling when a little in-joke between friends turns international? Yeah, nah? Well that is what I am feeling at the moment! Hahahaha. Liam leaves me for 4 days and his kids end up in the British News. Whoops!
PS- the headline is tad exaggerated probably to encourage people to click on it. I'm not fed up at all! It was a joke gone a little mad. My twins are MY FAVOURITE TOPIC to talk about!
PPS- The trolls and haters are way more fierce than footy crazies! Haha. Love it ðŸ˜œ
PPPS- Hi lovely English men and women! Thanks for your support. My best friend was born there and her family are from there (Manchester) so thank you for providing me with such a beautiful soul. Lots of love to you all xx

Me? As a twin mum, for a LONG while after I gave birth to my twins I was asked if twins run in my family, which I honestly think that sometimes it was just an alternate way of people asking: did you use IVF? I can hereby publicly acknowledge that no… I did not use IVF. Yes I had sex with my husband to create my twins. See? What does it matter anyway! And ewww, too much information for you, isn't it? Yes, I agree.

Also, when people immediately assume I delivered them via a c-section, I obviously feel the need to clarify: no, it was not a cesarean, yes it was a vaginal birth, yes I was given an epidural, yes I am a champion, and yes, so are all the women who gave birth via c-section. So there. (I DO love the reactions of women when I tell them I pushed two out, though; they are genuinely encouraging and impressed… and yes, I felt like I could conquer the world afterwards).

Did I mind all the questions about my twins themselves? NO, I loved it. I loved telling anyone - friends, colleagues, the checkout assistant, the taxi driver - that I was having twins, and after their birth, I was so proud to talk about them to anyone who would listen. Did I get tired of it? Not really. And no, my twins CAN'T be identical because… they are a boy and a girl.

Do I understand Annie's post? Yes, I do. Because guess what? It's HER experience and hers alone. She adds some humour to it, and is really not hurting anyone. Let's not make it about us, about infertility, about anything other than what was a private post (what's private on social media though? Nothing!) which has now gone viral.

'Disney On Ice' presents 'Dare To Dream': Sydney 2015 REVIEW

Okay, so upfront I will admit that when Josie's Juice (the sister site to TwinnieWorld) received an invitation to come along to the 'Disney On Ice: Dare To Dream' show (currently travelling Australia, and in Sydney until this Sunday), I was EXCITED!

I mean, look at this! SO dreamy!

I have never experienced this spectacular, and I was possibly even more excited than my kids (twins, boy/girl, age 7) were!

And so, we went to the opening day show of 'Disney On Ice: Dare To Dream' at Allphones Arena with the best attitude possible… with no expectations at all!

And… we were blown away!

In AUSTRALIA for their national tour from June 5 to July 12, 2015, Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream opened in Australia on 5 June 2015 and will be the ultimate princess experience, taking audiences on a journey to fulfill their dreams.

Bringing two of Disney’s modern day princess stories Tangled and, The Princess and the Frogand two most beloved fairytales Snow White and the Seven Dwarfsand Cinderella, this action packed skating spectacle is a classic meets contemporary celebration of 75 years of Disney Princess stories.

Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream opened in Perth on 5 June and has/will travel to Adelaide, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney until 12 July.

Laugh at Disney's hilarious hair-raising escapade, Tangled, as Rapunzel, Flynn and Maximus, embark on an uproarious journey that takes adventure to new lengths! Travel to the enchanted forest with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as Snow White escapes from the Evil Queen in her search for her one true love. Watch as fanciful dreams become reality as Cinderella meets her Prince Charming, with a glass slipper fit for an unforgettable fantasy come true. And boogie to the beat of the bayou in a magical, musical journey that celebrates the story of The Princess and the Frog with Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.

Australian audiences will experience the beauty, sparkle, and adventure when Disney On Icepresents Dare To Dream comes to a city near you.

And, how magical it all was. My family (even the husband) was absolutely enthralled by entire show, guessing the story lines as we went, pointing with delight at all the characters they know and love.

Flynn's Restaurant: diner's minimum age of seven

This post on Facebook… a friend alerted me and my guess is that it'll go viral:

It's from a Queensland restaurant called Flynn's.

It reads:

Flynns Restaurant requires diners be a minimum age of 7 years old.

This is a reply to the post for Christine Hall. Yes, we have applied the rule of not permitting children below the age of 7 in the restaurant minutes after you left because we respect our guests' wishes to dine in a calm atmosphere. The feedback from our diners regarding screaming babies have been nothing but wholly negative and in the interest of their wishes we have decided to introduce this policy and it will stand.

As a born and bred European myself, I do follow a good dining etiquette and it is my responsibility as a manager to step in and politely convey information to the families with small children to find alternative arrangements (just like every other family does in Europe). If one pays money for having an enjoyable lunch during an anniversary or honeymoon, please do yourself and other patrons a favour by getting a babysitter or by removing the screaming baby from the room. It is purely out of respect for other diners, regardless whether they are two or twenty of them in the restaurant. Those are basic social skills and we do not feel that we should be teaching parents how to handle their children. Sonia Tymecka, the manager of Flynn's restaurant.
